Darko Pilav, Director of Client Experience Engineering, Digital Asset

Darko is a Director of Client Experience Engineering with Digital Asset in Zurich where he manages the local team and oversees product development for the company’s high-growth Client Experience business. Darko joined Digital Asset in early 2016 through an acquisition of the Zurich-based technology start-up Elevence.
Elevence developed the precursor to DAML, Digital Asset’s intuitive and open-source smart contract language. Since 2015, Darko has led engineering teams responsible for developing the developer tools that complement DAML (e.g. the DAML SDK). He also oversaw the implementation of client use cases for some of the largest financial institutions and market infrastructures in Central Europe. Darko received his master’s degree in Theoretical Physics from ETH in Zurich.

John is currently Global Managing Director, Capital Markets & Exchanges Lead for Multiparty Systems & Blockchain at Accenture, an accomplished senior executive and driver of innovative change. He was formally the Managing Director, Enterprise Innovation & Product Development for TMX Group where he led various Innovation and product development efforts.
He was appointed to the Fintech Advisory Committee (FAC) with the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) in 2018. During his 20 year career in Canada’s capital markets, John has built a strong track record of success in spearheading the development and implementation of world class software solutions in trading, clearing and market data. His vast industry experience also includes positions in equities and derivatives trading along with technology leadership supporting foreign exchange trading, investment banking, global payments, prime brokerage and securities lending.
Cameron Prell, Head of Government Policy and Legal, XCHG
- Cameron is a prominent climate-markets lawyer who joined XCHG in 2020 to drive collaborative standards for digitization and decarbonization. His focus is on expanding cross-industry partnerships to build consensus around standards that define the value of immutable data related to energy, agriculture, water, and climate. Cameron has been a leader in the design and implementation of market-based solutions to climate change for more than 20 years, both as a big law firm attorney and policy advisor. In 2017, he founded the Coefficient Group, a strategic climate and sustainable finance firm in Washington, DC. He has been counsel to clients in energy, water, and sustainable finance transactions around the world, and brings deep experience in energy and environmental markets, designing climate risk management strategies, and structuring green finance instruments. Cameron has been a board member of the Climate Markets and Investment Association, served as national chair of the American Bar Association’s SEER Energy and Environmental Markets and Finance Committee, and participated on the Private Advisory Panel of the Climate Bonds Initiative
